FrSky TW MX Receiver
Description:
TWIN series TWMX receiver features a new stable TW protocol that benefits from simultaneously integrating dual active 2.4G frequency bands. The TW active-active protocol is different from the general active-standby redundancy solutions (where one receiver takes over signal control only when the other is in Failsafe mode), with the TW protocol, dual 2.4G frequency bands are active on the TW series receiver at the same time.
This receiver is designed for RC users who want to benefit from resilience and long-range in their radio communications, typically tens of kilometers are achievable. The TWMX receiver is light weight and its smaller size occupies less space which makes it very suitable for users who have constraints with limited installation space and weight.
As a micro receiver, the TWMX receiver is equipped with 2x 2.4G antennas. The signal output ports include one SBUS output channel and 4 PWM output channel ports. TWMX receiver also supports telemetry functions through FBUS / S.Port. By setting the TWMX to use FBUS protocol in the ETHOS system, the signal control and telemetry can be connected to any device that supports FBUS protocol through only one line to achieve bidirectional transmission, also simplifying the model build using fewer wires.
In addition, TWMX also supports 4ms race mode with ultra-low latency. When combining race mode with TW series resilient dual 2.4G solution, racers have a fast, stable, and reliable signal in racing competitions, without fear of signal loss due to interference.

1. The new "FrSky DUAL 2.4GHz TW MX Receiver" works perfectly with my "TWIN X-Lite S" transmitter. The TW MX has 4 PWM output channel ports. The receiver has a long range. It is small, light and fits perfectly in my small gliders.

2. Hello everyone . I use this receiver with my X20 equipped with the Twin lite pro RF module. I set the module to 10 mW and in range test I did 200 m before the signal was lost. In real range with 10 mW I walked 1100 m and everything worked perfectly at 1 m above the ground; at 1200 m loss of signal at 1 m . In 200mW, in real range, I walked 2500m and everything works without problem. This makes it possible to envisage very great distances with an altitude of 50 to 100 m. And if you want more, there is still the 500 mW power. You can have telemetry and 4 servos directly on this mini receiver, or use it on an RB safy box (an RB-30+ for me) and benefit from all the safety functions offered.
